Micro annular gear pumps in patented new development for fully automatic density determination

The DISIONIC DENSITY is a measuring system developed for fast and highly accurate density determination for quality assurance of production parts in production environment. Density is determined with an accuracy of up to 0.001 g/cm³. This is achieved by combining the classic and proven Archimedean principle with state-of-the-art system configuration and laboratory-grade precision balances.

The specially developed software and intuitive user interface allow measurement data to be easily recorded statistically or saved for further processing by the operator. Histograms and live monitoring ensure full control over the measurement process.

The measuring system can be used as part of a fully automated process or as a manual workstation with an automated measuring routine.

The measurement of ceramics, plastics, the measurement of complex components and free forms in 3D printing as well as the use in the field of medical technology are some of the applications of DISIONIC DENSITY. The system is already installed and certified in the field of medical technology.

In the DISIONIC DENSITY, one or two micro annular gear pumps (mzr-pumps) are used, depending on the system design.

In all versions of the DISIONIC DENSITY, the core is a measuring basin with integrated scale, which is filled and emptied precisely and bubble-free by an mzr-7245. Filling must take place within a specified time, with the filling level being precisely maintained to +/- 0.05 mm.

A fully automatic mixing station is available as an option. Here, an mzr-4622X1 M2.1 performs the mixing of the measuring liquid for the further processing. The pump is controlled via the PLC so that the correct mixing ratio is always ensured.
